The African Leadership Magazine is pleased to announce that Professor Charles Anosike, Director General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET), will be honoured and presented with the African Public Sector Leadership Impact Award during the highly anticipated 14th African Leadership Magazine Persons of the Year (POTY) Ceremony. In addition to his operational achievements, Professor Anosike has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to human capacity. development. His focus on staff training and securing the accreditation of the National Meteorological Institute of Science and Technology (NMIST) by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) reflects his forward-thinking approach to workforce empowerment. His dedication to technological innovation is evident in the restoration of NIMET’s data centre, the launch of a revamped interactive website, and the unveiling of a state-of-the-art digital weather studio.
